The Bricks at Embarcadero Plaza is a town square celebrating San Francisco arts, food and culture. Opening in August 2024, the Bricks will include a cafe and beer garden, rotating art and daily music.
Every day, more than 30,000 Bay Area residents pass by Embarcadero Plaza, making this an ideal location from which to launch the renewal of San Francisco's urban core. The Bricks is a go-to meeting spot that will draw workers, residents and visitors downtown.
The Bricks will be open daily Tuesday through Saturday with arts, food and culture. Weekly special events will include:
Friday dance party: dance in the long weekend with popular Bay Area bands.
Saturday family day: celebrate San Francisco's cultural diversity with family and kid-themed events every Saturday.
The Friends of Embarcadero Bricks is a partnership between SF New Deal, the Advance SF project for a vibrant city, the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department, and Mayor London Breed's Office of Economic and Workforce Development. The Bricks project is funded by private donors and city grants.
